Information to help you understand the market
VintWire brings together information from merchants and other market sources to help private customers understand prices, availability and activity across the UK wine market.
We take reasonable steps to collect, organise, match and present that information accurately.
The wine market is constantly changing, however, and much of the underlying commercial information originates with third parties. Prices, availability, stock status, delivery terms, tax or duty treatment, formats and other details can change at any time.
Information displayed on VintWire should therefore be understood as market information rather than a guarantee that a particular offer or commercial term will remain available.
Prices and availability can change
VintWire aims to provide a timely and accurate view of the market we observe, but third-party commercial information cannot be guaranteed.
Merchant information may change between VintWire observations. A price may be amended, stock may sell through, an allocation may close, a format may change or a merchant may alter the terms attached to an offer.
Information published by merchants or other third parties may itself also contain delays, omissions or errors. VintWire may be affected by external factors including changes to merchant websites, source availability and technical interruptions.

An offer price is not necessarily a transaction price
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, prices shown or recorded by VintWire represent merchant offer prices observed by VintWire.
An observed asking price does not establish that a transaction took place at that price, that the wine could have been bought or sold in a particular quantity at that price, or that the price represents a formal valuation.
Historical observations, price movements and comparisons should be interpreted on that basis.
VintWire does not sell wine
VintWire does not own the wines displayed on the service, hold merchant inventory or sell wine to users.
We do not process payments or become a party to a transaction between a user and a merchant.
Any purchase is made directly from the relevant merchant and is subject to that merchant's own terms and conditions.
Payment, contractual terms, stock availability, storage, fulfilment, collection, delivery, returns and customer service relating to a purchase remain matters between the customer and the merchant.
Independent analysis is information, not personalised advice
VintWire may publish analysis, comparisons, observations and editorial views about wines, merchants, prices, releases and activity in the wine market.
We may, for example, identify an observed offer as particularly competitive, comment on changes in merchant pricing or question the relative value of a new release.

Our coverage is not exhaustive. A merchant, wine or offer that does not appear on VintWire may still be available elsewhere.
